There are several options of how to access the archival materials deposited at the Prague City Archives. Researchers can visit our Reading Room, use our paid archival document research services, or order copies of selected documents. The Archives also organises guided tours for history students.

Reading RoomAnybody who is interested in history can do research in the Prague City Archives. Loaning records in the Reading Room is a public service which is free of charge. |

Paid search serviceThe Prague City Archives provides paid search services of many archival materials, e.g. research from the Prague census returns, research from Prague church registers etc. |

Copies and copyrightIf possible given the condition and type of the relevant archival material, the Prague City Archives provides photographic, micrographic, digital and xerox copies. |
